This took forever. I usually don't spend much time on pictures, but I liked how this one was turning out so I put some extra effort into it.
I also ended up using way more layers than usual, because of the armor and stuff. And I kept loosing track of where everything was. I had them labeled and everything and put some in folders, but I still kept getting confused.
But anyways I really like how this ended up looking, so I'm glad I put in the extra effort.

Hey man, I'm working on personal stories of Mine (probably never to be published) and I was wondering if I could use this image for a character of mine.

Derp the Manic: Derpy Hooves from My Little Pony. She comes from a grimdark universe where Equestria has been at war with everyone. Derp was a commando trained by the Lunar Guard in Black Ops tactics, to perform the most dangerous of jobs (as well as ones that would have high body counts). On one job, she unknowingly killed an undercover Equestrian agent: Carrot Top. As punishment, Celestia banished her to another universe to live in exile away from her home. When she arrived, she knew that her instincts and experiences would make her a nervous wreck, so she began a mental lockdown of her memory, training, and emotions. To complete the process, it requires a deformity. To further sell her innocence she decided to give herself a lazy eye. She lived in the forest and eventually had a filly. One day, people came into the forest and found her filly walking through the woods. They proceeded to take her away to be sold as a work pony. Derp heard her filly's cry for help, which flicked a switch in her brain, realigning her eye and bringing back her memories. She galloped toward the people and slaughtered them. Her Daughter stood there in shock at her mother who had done such a thing. Seeing this, Derp hugged her daughter, apologizing for a good two hours. When it was over, her filly forgave her. At seeing her acceptance, Derp's eye crossed, the opposite one from before. Now it locked away her memories of her otherworldly home, but gave her her skills again, to protect her little filly.
I was thinking of downloading this image to capture Derp in soldier mode, and if I ever publish this online, I promise to credit you.
